Bob Harris

Bob Harris was born in Zionsville, Indiana.  He graduated in 1993 with a Public Relations/Advertising degree from Franklin College.  Bob is the son of the hard working and very successful General Motor’s automobile dealer Tom Harris who after selling his franchise to Bill Estes in 1975, began leasing his two dealership buildings and thus set the foundation for the Harris Family Limited Partnership.

After the passing of the family patriarch in 2002 Bob took over the day-to-day operation of the partnership.  Bob has overseen the partnership’s growth in becoming the single largest commercial real estate owner in Zionsville.

Bob is committed, in coordination with town leaders, to the quality growth of downtown Zionsville and sustainability of Zionsville Schools.  Proof of which is the largest and most popular construction project the town has seen in 100 years with the addition of South Village.  Adding over 30,000 square feet of retail and office to the Village.  Thus providing critical, quality commercial tax base to the school system.  This commitment to education has now reached countywide with Kite Harris’ partnership with the City of Lebanon and Vincennes University in bringing a new state of the art technical college to Lebanon.

Bob lives in Zionsville with his wife Tammy and two children Sarah and Max.  Bob is a member of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office Merit Board.  He and his family attend Zionsville Fellowship Church where he is involved with the youth through drama.  He is also involved in projects with the Zionsville Little League along with other Boone County Charities.
